SDAAFE strongly condemns the abhorrent attack that took place at the Chabad of Poway, California on April 27, 2019. We are in a state of utter shock and give our deepest condolences to the victims, their families, and the Jewish community. We mourn for those who lost their lives and grieve for those affected by this senseless assault at the synagogue.
On behalf of the SDAAFE foundation, two of our board members have joined bereaved relatives, fellow grieving congregants, and political leaders in attending the memorial service for Ms. Lori Gilbert-Kaye, who lost her life in this tragedy.
SDAAFE stands steadfast in solidarity with everyone who fights against all types of racism, including anti-semitism, and all acts of hate. We believe that all men are created equal, and justice will prevail.
Our hearts are with the afflicted families and their congregation. We send our unconditional love and support to the families of the Chabad of Poway victims.
