Nov 21, The welcome celebration for councilman elect Chris Cate was held at mira mesa senior center. Many asian groups attended to support. Chris said he will work hard to not let anyone down. Tom Hom（first AsAm city councilman at san diego, first few AsAm CA state assembly member) supported Chris and said it’s a great pleasure to see an asian councilman elect after 50 years，he said Chris will do better than him.
