看清AB 1726法案的真实意图
圣地亚哥亚裔平权会建议所有人立即采取行动，尽快给你的州众议员打电话，表明你对AB1726法案的态度。该法案将于3月15日下午1:30投票，请尽快行动。
AB 1726法案将现有加州政府条例8310.7中，对亚裔族群进行细分的法案扩展到了医疗卫生以及加州所有公立大学系统。如果说细分亚裔族群扩展到医疗卫生部门还有一定的益处的话，细分到加州所有公立大学系统是要做什么呢？美国应该是一个各民族一起共同平等机会发展的国家，把种族因素这样故意引入到公立大学中来，不能不说这是提案人整个社区的一个分裂行动。一旦这个法案通过，将来类似SCA5的法案就可以打着照顾更多“少数族裔”的幌子堂而皇之地出现在州参议院和众议院当中。
为了避免将来反对类似SCA5法案时的被动，请您立刻行动起来，反对这个分裂亚裔族群的AB 1726。

如果你反对该项提案，只需要告诉你的众议员，I oppose to AB 1726, please vote NO to this bill。
你也可以对该法案提出具体的修改意见，比如只对大学里面增加亚裔族群信息提出意见，但不反对在公共医疗系统中增加亚裔信息。比如I understand why you want to record the additional information for Asian Americans for health concern. However, it’s very troublesome to introduce this into California Community College, California State University and University of California system. Why do you want to divide our students into such small groups? Should not all students have the same opportunities to get enrolled regardless of their ethnical group?

AB 1726法案原文链接及简介
AB1726法案是要对现有的California Government Code Section 8310.7的一个修正案。这个修正案中，把原来的细分亚裔族群的范围从The Department of Industrial Relations和The Department of Fair Employment and Housing扩展到了The State Department of Public Health and the State Department of Health Care Services以及The Board of Governors of the California Community Colleges, the Trustees of the California State University, or the Regents of the University of California。
